Mike & Anne Howard, two American newlyweds who thought a ten-day honeymoon wasn’t nearly enough to celebrate a new life together. With a little bit of savings, no kids, and good health, we figured there was no better time to travel than now. So we quit our jobs, rented our apartment, and set out on a 675-day honeymoon around the world. Using Anne’s background as a magazine editor and Mike’s as a digital media strategist and photographer, we started HoneyTrek.com to share our journey of love, life, and adventure. From the New York Times bestselling author of Rocket Men and the award-winning biographer of Thomas Paine comes the first complete history of the Atomic Age, a brilliant, magisterial account of the men and women who uncovered the secrets of the nucleus, brought its power to America, and ignited the twentieth century.
Comedian Danny Lobell From Modern Day Philosophers. It features Danny and a different comedian every week discussing philosophy. It can be listened to on iTunes or SoundCloud.
Danny Lobell is a Los Angeles based, internationally touring comedian. At the age of 16, he walked into his local Starbucks in Long Beach, New York, went up last at an open mic night, and was met with mostly silence. Despite the tough crowd, Danny was hooked. In his 20s, when he moved to New York City to pursue comedy full time, he also established The Comical, a free monthly magazine that featured stories about well known comedians. When the publishing industry went bust, he started the first ever comedy podcast with an interview format, Comical Radio. George Carlin, Chris Rock, and more than a thousand other guests were on the show during its eight year span. Along with the podcast, he wrote, produced, and directed Rise of the Radio Show, a web series based on his interactions with the comedians and interviewees. |

BackgroundFor the past 17 years I've made my career out of designing and teaching group fitness kickboxing classes. Many of my classes consist of up to 100 people, who range in fitness levels from beginner to advanced-- all in the same class. Obviously this exposed some challenges and hurdles that I needed to overcome in order to keep my classes at the highest quality possible. |
